Amazon India is expanding its Mission GraHAQ campaign to North Eastern states including Itanagar, aiming to educate and empower consumers about safe online shopping. The company will produce interactive radio programs that will be broadcast three times a week on All India Radio’s radio stations in the local languages.
Speaking about the campaign Mr. Pema Khandu, Honourable Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, said, “I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the noteworthy initiative that Amazon India has undertaken through the Mission GraHAQ campaign. This unique approach not only ensures a wide reach but also transcends the common language barriers, offering a platform where essential consumer safety information can be accessed by all.”
The campaign aims to inform and educate consumers in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura about safe online shopping and reiterate its commitment to protect consumers from bad actors. The three-month campaign was launched on All India Radio on October 31 in the North East region. The radio spots will be aired in Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Nagamese, Garo, Khasi, Nepali, Manipuri, and Mizo. Amazon and AIR will broadcast radio spots each week, covering various themes such as consumer rights, choice, redressal mechanisms, and safe online shopping.
