AI and Robotics will be included in Meghalaya’s school curriculum

Robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and emerging technologies will be incorporated into the curriculum by the Meghalaya government as part of a continuous update to the State Curriculum Framework (SCF) and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF). Chief Secretary DP Wahlang affirmed that in addition to these upgrades, pupils will be exposed to new language learning programs, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT). “Yes, without a doubt,” the Chief Secretary told reporters.

There are changes being made to the educational curriculum. The State Curriculum Framework (SCF) is also being revised in conjunction with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF). These improvements will introduce new fields like artificial intelligence (AI), robots, the Internet of Things (IoT), and new language learning. Students will undoubtedly gain from all of these, which will be included in the curriculum. “We are in contact with NCERT, and we will incorporate whatever NCERT includes in the curriculum,” Wahlang continued, highlighting the importance of a contemporary and dynamic educational system. To make it more dynamic, however, we will also add more.
