After skipping the Oppn march, TMC leaders assert that Congress cannot take us for granted

Senior Trinamool Congress (TMC) officials claimed that the Congress “cannot take us for granted” as their party skipped Wednesday’s rally by the Opposition over the Adani issue.
According to party sources, the TMC leader and chief minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, is furious with remarks made by Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, the Congress leader in the Lok Sabha.
The TMC declined to sign a letter of protest that was addressed to the director of the Enforcement Directorate, SK Mishra, on Wednesday and urged him to launch an investigation against the Adani Group due to suspicions of unethical activities, including the use of shell companies to launder money. It also chose not to take part.
