The Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) 2023 concluded with education leaders resolving to work collectively for transforming India into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society. Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education, Government of India delivered valedictory address as the chief guest.
Shri Dharmendra Pradhan announced Shiksha Parivar’s commitment to implementing National Education Policy (NEP) to make India a knowledge-based superpower. He urged the education fraternity to convert PM-Shri School into an All-India Institution and called for concerted efforts to strengthen the school ecosystem. Shri Pradhan prioritizes teacher capacity building, aiming to develop 300 centers-of-excellence in school, higher education, and skill from this academic year. The 2-day event featured 16 thematic sessions on School Education, Higher Education, and Skill Education, led by distinguished panelists.
The multimedia exhibition showcased the best initiatives in school and higher education, attracting nearly 2 lakh attendees over two days. The event featured 200 stalls from institutions, organizations, industry, and key stakeholders, including Indian Knowledge Systems, Idea Labs, start-ups, and state universities. The event attracted students, youth volunteers, and participants of Yuva Sangam.
