Leading barbecue restaurant chain, Absolute Barbecues (AB’s) in Guwahati, has kicked off its Assamese Food Festival – featuring an exotic spread of Assamese special delicacies from March 23rd and running till April 3rd.
To add to the joy, popular Assamese actress Amrita Gogoi will be visiting the festival on March 25th at 12:30 pm to grace her presence and indulge in the delicious goodness of the Assamese delicacies. The festival is designed to provide food connoisseurs with an ideal opportunity to indulge in authentic flavours from Assam. The festival menu will feature dishes like Khar, MasorTenga, HaahJohakumura, Chicken curry, Mutton curry with potato, Patotdiyamaas, Pitika, Anja, Doichira, Khulasaporipitha, Gurerpayesh, Narkelerladoo etc.
AB’s Guwahati has also recently launched its full-stock bar where foodies can enjoy their first drinks for free. Mr Manish Pandey, AB’s Regional Manager, Guwahati said, “Keeping up with our promise for innovation and bringing about new things, we bring to you the first of its kind “Assamese Food Festival”, a sensory experience of delectable meals where the focus is not just on the taste but also the ambience and experience.”
