Sona daa is ready for a new adventure and as usual, Abir and Jhinuk will accompany him. Another film from the ‘Guptodhon’ franchise has been announced on the last day of the year and it has made all fans too excited for it. Director Dhrubo Banerjee will direct ‘Karnasubarner Guptodhon’ and the title suggests, once again it will be a deep journey into the Bengal’s rich history along with mystery and adventure. Abir Chatterjee, Arjun Chakrabarty and Ishaa Saha will reprise their roles of Sona daa, Abir and Jhinuk respectively.
In his previous two films ‘Guptodhoner Sondhane’ and ‘Durgeshgorer Guptodhon’, Dhrubo had mixed the thrills of history and adventure with Bengal’s heritage in the right proportion to deliver two blockbusters.
Director explains “Bengal has a treasure trove of history, literature and culture. I want to reintroduce these aspects to the young generation through the Guptodhon franchise. Karnasubarna is one such chapter,”
Karnasubarna was the capital of Gauda Kingdom during the reign of Raja Shashanka. The ruins of Karnasubarna have been located at Kansona in the present Murshidabad.
