On 22nd November 2023, over 80 healthcare professionals were presented with certificates by the Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) during a convocation ceremony in New Delhi. The students were trained using CSR funds from SBI Cards India Limited.
The program taught 360 applicants in three locations for various job roles, including General Duty Assistant, Phlebotomist, and Medical Dresser. Over 70% of participants were successfully placed. The event was attended by dignitaries from HSSC, NABH, NCVET, SBI Cards, Medical Advisory Committee, Valeur FabtexPvt. Ltd., and other dignitaries were present in the convocation ceremony.
The Hon’ble Secretary of MSDE, Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, encouraged students to continue their education by accumulating credit points under the National Credit Framework Scheme and advised them to download the Skill India Digital Portal for digital learning. He also advised employers to register on the JobX portal and register their demands. Tiwari emphasized the importance of students’ overall development for their professional advancement and praised the industry partners of Skill India for their contributions to creating a skilled healthcare workforce.
