An incident took place in the Fatehganj West area when the ambulance driver lost control of the vehicle, which hit a divider and swerved to the other side of the road before hitting the truck, Bareilly Police said on Twitter.
Seven people died on the spot.
It is suspected that the ambulance driver may have fallen asleep which led to the accident.
Police said that the identity of the deceased is not identified yet.
