Amazon hosted the 3rd AmazeWIT – Amazon Women in Technology Conference in Bangalore, focusing on upskilling and providing career opportunities for women in the technology industry. The hybrid conference offered curated sessions, best practices exchange, mentoring, and networking opportunities for women to learn about innovative technologies and professional development.
The AmazeWIT Conference 2023 aimed to empower women in the technology industry by fostering belonging and promoting inclusion. With 400+ participants, including tech leaders, women in software development, technical program management, and business intelligence, the event featured thought-provoking keynote addresses, technology talks by Amazon leaders, fireside chats, and networking opportunities. The conference also featured sessions on machine learning and artificial intelligence, as well as the technology behind AmazonPay.
The event also attracted women students from science and tech fields, who were selected through a rigorous screening and short listing process. Amazon showcased their latest projects, innovations, and technology visions through informational booths, engaging participants and sharing knowledge about their respective domains.
