2,856 visas issued to Indian pilgrims: Pakistan High Commission

The Pakistan High Commission announced on Friday that it had granted 2,856 Sikh pilgrims from India visas to attend the annual Baisakhi celebrations in Pakistan from April 9 to April 18.
During their trip, the pilgrims would stop by the gurdwaras at Dera Sahib, Panja Sahib, Nankana Sahib, and Kartarpur Sahib, it was announced. Sikh and Hindu pilgrims from India travel to Pakistan under the terms of a bilateral protocol on visits to sacred sites. According to the protocol, yearly pilgrims from Pakistan also travel to India.
