Two persons have been arrested in an inter-state operation for allegedly duping unemployed youths on the pretext of providing them with jobs.
Accused Tushar and Akram were residents of Uttar Pradesh and were working from Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand.
They were arrested on the spot.
A 23-year-old woman from Delhi filed a complaint on the Home Ministry’s cybercrime portal alleging that some unidentified people duped her into paying Rs 12,000 when she applied for a job on social media.
DCP said the investigation is going on.
