15 shops in Anjaw district are destroyed by a serious fire accident

Early on Thursday morning, a terrible fire destroyed fifteen stores in the Hayuliang market in the Anjaw area, resulting in significant financial losses. According to reports, the fire began at around 4 AM and raged for almost an hour and a half until being put out at around 5:30 AM. Although no casualties have been reported as of yet, local businesses have been severely impacted by the debris. Anjaw Superintendent of Police (SP) Rikke Kamsi told reporters that the precise amount of money lost is still being determined.

“The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and investigations are ongoing,” he stated. Residents of Hayuliang assert that the situation has gotten worse due to a lack of firefighting equipment in the area. The fire department is stationed at the district offices in Hawai, which is an hour distant, according to a local who asked not to be named. “By the time the fire brigade arrived, the fire had already consumed all the shops,” he said.

But the Indian Army moved quickly to prevent more damage. “The fire was contained with the assistance of four Army water tankers. The resident admitted that the harm might have been greater without their help. Numerous store owners have been devastated by the fire, which has had a serious negative impact on their livelihoods. The cause of the catastrophe and the exact amount of the losses are still being investigated by authorities.
